Merry Meet One and All!
White Witch took a journey to Welwyn to visit one of our favourite charities, 'The Cat Survival Trust'. This is an exceptional place - it is the only British charity devoted to the care, rescue and conservation of WILD cat species and the preservation of their natural habitat. This little charity works so hard and really deserves to have people made aware of its good work. It's also the ONLY organisation in Britain to have purchased and secured a region of the natural rainforest, and to establish such an area as a protected reserve. The Cat Survival Trust is run by dedicated volunteers and has no salaried staff. That being the case, all of any money donated will go to the project it was intended for and not towards admin costs or staff salaries. Whilst not currently open to the general public, a personal guided, informative tour for members and their guests enables visitors to learn more about the work carried out in Welwyn and abroad. Enthusiastic volunteers are welcome to apply at any time - see our Cat Survival Trust page.
